You have made it to the end of another working day.
Have you been successful in achieving all of your goals or have you been distracted and are now chasing your tail?
How we use our time is an indication of what things are important to us.
Here are some questions to reflect on.
Do you often find that the things you planned to do very often get done or is your To-Do list increasing at a rate of knots? By the way, does it still contain things you planned to do last week, last month, maybe even last year?
How often do you set or revise your goals?
Do you prioritize your day’s tasks?
Sometimes you find that you have spent most of your time working on tasks that were seen as urgent only to find that they were not important. Important tasks are ones which result in us achieving our goals whereas urgent tasks are often for us to achieve other people’s goals.
Not prioritizing tasks effectively can eventually cause us to miss out on opportunities and even lead to a pressure-filled and stressful life. When we find ourselves with too much to do in too little time, we can become anxious and this can ultimately affect our health negatively.
